Hope Weekend 1.5.07

I will be hanging out this weekend watching Cspan...working on the GED with 6-6....and throwing a whole bunch of HOPE to New Hampshire. That the Voters there to get to really get their Questions answered...that they connect with the Candidates. That the Repugs Make Mistakes.....That Edwards and Obama feel the love and respect that they need to move forward, that they know we don't want them sniping at each other.

Lets Have Some Hope....for the First Time in a long time...
****************************************
Song is "You Get What You Give" by the New Radicals. It is a GreenPeace ad ( it has some graphic parts in the beginning, but it is a Wonderful Video. I have been thinking about the Young People that made a difference in Iowa, they made a Huge Difference in Iowa. They are our Greatest Gift, we need to appreciate them more. They are making a difference. Anyways it is a very Inspiring Courageous Video, we can not have Hope without Courage.
***************************************
"This Whole Damn World could Fall Apart,
You'll be Okay, follow your Heart....
This World is gonna pull though,
Don't Give up,
We Only get What we give.
Don't be afraid to live".

I think the support of the young people for Obama is very key and very encouraging. When was the last time young people had such enthusiasm for any political candidate?

I'm hoping for a good outcome in New Hampshire.

enigma you will be happy with the turnout in New Hampshire. Obama and Edwards will come out on top but they love Repugs though not Religious types so you will see Mccain and Giuliani do well but in the end that is no big deal!

I listened to Cpsan this am- for NH callers, and I was kind of stunned- there were repug and dem callers for Edwards and Obama- more Obama than I ever would have expected. But the other shocker was that there were repugs that don't want McCain or Religous Can....and were thinking Obama- and I was struck some pointed out that they Dont' want the War and they don't want any more Theocrats.....so I realized they are in bad place...really odd....

So New Englanders see Rudy different than New Yorkers? and Romeny ? and freddy ? ( who has no events planned- I don't get Freddy is he running or not ?) and Huck ?

enigma just thought I would share this with you here though I did E you!I think you know a bit of my past but I am New England!
I have such an intimate knowledge of every aspect of farming and the farm life having worked and managed farms throughout New England and such an intimate knowledge of the coast from the cape to the tip of maine having had a rowboat as a kid in Salem Mass to lobstering, fishing, and digging clams for a living in Ipswich.
I almost forgot, when a teen ager I mated for a buddy who ferried vacationer out to Bakers an Island off Salem, marblehead, and Manchester by the Sea on the other side. I would love to show someone the intimacies of New
England some day and I will finish my children's book about my Huckleberry childhood growing up in 60s Salem exploring Salem, the woods, and the coast.
Fairy tale I tell you but those that grew up with me would say the exact opposite. I loved it!Anything you want to know about beautiful New England I'm your man. It would take a book though as I left no stone unturned. You
guys take care and we'll be talking.

( the photo on pic was from here - this week...Downtown Cleveland...pretty cool...see you can find Light Anywhere..even Downtown C-town,...)

I loved what Obama said in speech today:
"there is plenty of Heat in DC...what we need is the Light"....

made my whole day....

Hope.....

There is a lot of Liberal dems moving into NH but there is a very hardcore Conservative in your face, rather fight than switch, live free "my way" or die, core. believe it or not they are still pro Bush and will come out for McCain and Giuliani though Obama and Edwards will persevere when all is said and done.
