This is my DREAM Kitchen....oh how I wish.....sigh..anyways this weekend I am cooking....baking....Chili, Sweet Potato Pie and Biscuits and I have to thank Fallenmonk, I went there and there was a great Biscuit Receipe, and since I have always made Hockey Puck Biscuits , I am very inspired to try these. And then a guest at his blog has a great Video that he made, I will post more about that later.....I also am making Easter Cupcakes for my neighbors. Sadly there is susposed to be up to 8 inches of snow today....so so much for Spring...Have a Good Friday....

heh, I too am going to try the biscuits.
I've never been much of a baker but I do know the secret to this is using COLD butter and cut it into really small balls when mixing.
Makes nice and flaky.

ahhhh Cold butter- that makes sense....I am working on them all weekend...
(I want them to be soft and buttery and flaky would be nice too.....just not dry and hard....)
Keeping those barley sugar twists clean would be a task...
Apart from that I could work the kitchen :)

The cure for hockey puck biscuits is to put lots of cheddar cheese in them. Works every time. Yum.
