Christmas Night...12.25.07

It has been a quiet Christmas, but 6-6 and I agreed , one of our favorite ones....and after Moonstuck we will make cookies and have Egg Nog...The cats have not taken the Tree down yet, and the little yellow dog is happy that she had meatloaf for dinner. We did not have snow, but I am sure we will before New Years. I am so grateful to have a home and place to be with my son.....I have faith that good things will come in the New Year for all of us.....Namaste.

Faith is never misplaced, may you look back on 2008 and say the same thing for 2009.

But quit using that horrid S word. Please

peace

What a sweet, comforting blog! I just left a comment for you over at Watergate Summer.

What horrid "s" word is Mark talking about?

And how old is your son?

Christmas was very peaceful at our house too. I am so grateful to have my sons and little family. A new puppy (a rescue) literally arrived on our doorstep.

Good things are coming, and are actually here. We have to open our eyes and see that in the midst of turmoil, actual change is taking place.
In the midst of love, everything that is unlike love, must come up for healing. In other words, all the ugliness we are seeing right now, is erupting like a volcano in order for it to be purged, healed and done away with.

Love and Happy New Year
xoxo

Lydia: I have no idea what the Horrid "S" word is....it might be "snow" ? that is my best guess....

I don't think Snow is horrid....but Walking Man lives up by the Great Lakes ( further north than us)....and I think they have had a bit of snow and storms.....

Oh that is so sweet that you and your family rescued a puppy..that is lovely. We rescued a bunny one Christmas( it too arrived to use wrapped in a Blanket on Christmas eve)....he slept in my son's room for 8 years....
I hope and pray that we have Peace and Many Good Things in the New Year...

thanks for coming over.....( you can always email me at enigma4ever@earthlink.net)

Mark: take care and many good wishes for the new year....

Fran: good wishes to you too...namaste.

Lydia: I wrote the above and then laughed-
'rescued a bunny" ??? We have rescued so many creatures ( for some reason our neighbors think that Nurses have VET training ???) anyways we have had so many rescues...but there is something very special about a Christmas Rescue- that arrives hand delivered to your doorstep...it truly is the best lesson of Christmas to give Love to the unloved...at the least expected , least sought moment.....

Thank you for rescuing a creature....

If I remember right- don't you all have a bearded dragon? ( My son really really wanted one for years- but we worried that it might not be happy with the rest of our little herd.....)

thanks again...
