MONDAY SOULFOOD....

****************************
There is nothing better than Clothes hung on the Line...
it smells so good....
especially if there is warm sun...
and a nice breeze....
I did realize this weekend...
that Fabric Softener really has to be added..
otherwise the towels are too stiff...
but the sheets are ever so crisp...
and Cool....

As the laundry , the sheets and towels waver in the breeze....
they always remind me of Prayer Flags....
sending prayers to Heaven...

Sure E everything is going along. Not much knocks me around anymore. I was heartened to read Obama's speech in NC. It is about time the Left took the fight in a strategic way to the right.

One thing about laundry on the line though...mulberry trees and birds tend to negate the possibility. The carrion tend to target anything not already marked with purplish spots.

As a kid, one of my chores was hanging up & taking down laundry (which I had to do on a step ladder since I was such a shrimp). My mom resisted getting a dryer for decades. I remember everything smelt so good after a few hours in the sun. But I also remember the clothes pin creases on all our clothes, at the shoulders of shirts & blouses.

Great song! I really enjoyed it. Wow, so many ways to travel. Why can't we all just get together sometime!

I hang my clothes on the line whenever possible. After so many, many years its become kind of an art form hanging certain things just so to avoid marks. There is no doubt they smell soooo good when they come in'

I used to hang clothes - but I forgot how stiff they get....I gotta work out a better system...but I am doing sheets and towels outside- it saves dryer time and energy....( and when it is 90 Something degrees- it is just wrong to use the dryer -ya know?)and you are right - they smell soooo good...
