I was going to call this post...NOT Again....I am so sick of Winter. There I said it. I know last winter was so much worse and I am so much better off this winter- I HAVE A NEW FURNACE....and last winter at this time is when we had the BIG Freeze - 22 Days straight of Below Zero Weather.....but I wake up and there it is again....Snow...and I am just NOT feeling happy to see it. I want to put my surf shorts on and my flip flops...and feel the sun....sigh.....Okay..there is my rant for a Cold Snowy Windy Saturday.

well...having grown up in NY, and attended college in upstate NY, and then moving to Texas in 1979 - i MISS the snow, and the changing seasons. i always try to visit up there when there's a reasonable chance of snow (Jan., Feb) but i invariably miss it. but it's also come clear as i age and my bones creak, that what i really like abt snow is that i can visit it, then leave for often warm Texas. As long as we have an accumulated 3 or 4 weeks of low 50's, high 40's, and i get to wear some of my many sweaters, i'm good.
if you need a sweater....just yell ;-)
I know all about creaking bones too.....
I know I should be happy to see it....it is beautiful...

Enigma, just turn up the heat & put on those surf shorts & flip-flops for one day & stay INSIDE the house! Play surf music & drink coconut juice, too. You'll feel MUCH better. Or would ONE day of high heat wreck the budget?
I know how you feel cuz I feel the same about the rain here. But it cleared up today and I was able to go to the beach and take a walk. Also got some nice photos that I'll post later.
