What an Amazing Evening...

************************************************
If each of you were here I would give you a BIG Hug.....
You see it's funny...Many People have said WOW, people are acting like idiots about this Election, It's not the Titanic Going Down....But see here is the thing for some of us- we have been sitting in Lifeboats watching our country sink these past few years.....and the lifeboats are full of tired people....People that have lost Jobs, Life Savings, Homes, and Loved Ones in Iraq, and Faith in a Criminal Government....it has been a Titannical Administration....
And tonight after Blogging all of this, the Primaries and the Debates and the Criminalities of Bushco...Something Lifted when Edwards stepped on that stage and "The Rising" by Bruce Springsteen was playing....
*{{ Click the Title "I Believe " By Fantasia, this was the night she won in 2004...so heartfelt and so beautifully sung }}*
SOME GOOD NEWS...
I have been scouring the news for Something Good...So 6-6 and I were talking about China and the Pandas....and I decided to look them up and see how they were after the Quake. World Wildlife Fund verifys that the Giant Pandas at the Wolong Great Panda Research and Breeding Center are safe and sound. There are 86 Pandas there and all are accounted for after the Quake.
Pandas In China are their National Treasure....and in Folklore they are believed to have Magical Powers and to be blessed with many gifts. Yet sadly they live or survive on a limited diet, of 15 limited types of Bamboo that only grow in 6 very small Inland China Regions ( yes near the Quake Zone). They also need to eat 16-18 hours a day to stay alive, but they don't tend to eat under stress, so how they handle the Quake and the Aftershocks will be a test for them. They also do not tend to hibernate due to weather or stressful events ( Most bears do), they only hibernate during pregnancy.
Chinese Folklore is based on the Pandas, that they gained their black patches from tears mixed with the Earth when they cried over a lost Protector....But their wellbeing they believe is indeed tied to the that of the fate of the Panda Bear.....

MoonRiver.....

I have had this song in my head all day as I cleaned and did laundry....."Breakfast at Tiffany's" is one of my favorite movies, and this song is one of my favorites.....but this time I found a version of it sung by a young artist, Katie Melua, very nicely done, magical. It is linked to the Title. Enjoy....
( It always reminds me of my friend that owned a coffee shop...and now lives 5000 mile away....I used to sing it offkey in my car and annoy him....and make him laugh...)
Sometimes You Just Need an Old Movie....

Finally everything is blooming in my neighborhood, bright pink Dogwoods....Cherry Blossums...and Lilacs.
Click the Link, the Song is a very sultry jazzy song the musicians on this song are so talented, the artist is Katie Melua, and the song is " I put a spell on you." ( She is a very talented singer from England, I think Amy Winehouse has gotten alot of the spotlight, but this girl is talented.)
