We are due for a Storm tonight, and big snow.....I usually put Christmas songs to the title, but tonight it is more Emerson, Lake and Palmer. I have been humming this song as I walk this week in the Cold. For some reason this song warms me up.I think it reminds me of my 20's, and feeling Invincible, yet like I had to learn and "grow and go with the Flow"....It is a haunting song.

Tuesday Night Christmas Music 12.11.07

Song is about Peace....Gilbert O'Sullivan did this song back in the Vietnam era, it is definently a song with a messege, and it is not about Santa or Jesus. Gilbert O' Sullivan was not famous, he did a song called "Alone, Again, Naturally that became a cult classic for angst riden teenagers, he would be called EMO today. There is nice art with this video as well....very soothing. With all of the talk of Destroyed Torture Tapes and the Wicked Weather across the country......we just need some nice music and some hot tea.....Tea tonight is Peach Ginger, and homemade pretzels....have a good night....

Monday Night Music 12.10.07

Definently a night to find a cozy warm fire, and some hot coco. I continue my quest to bring Great Christmas Music to you all this month. We are suposed to have a storm later tonight, the end of those Ice Storms that are plaguing the middle of the Country....even up to the Great Lakes.

This a beautiful version of "I believe in Father Christmas", with beautiful art ( similiar to the painting on this post....)

Tonight is the anniversary of John Lennon being taken from us. I always think of Yoko Ono on this night, I think of what was taken from her, the love of her life.These chairs really spoke to me when I was trying to find a symbolic photo. That last summer they created Double Fantasy, the greatest Love Story Album ever.......

I walked the dog tonight....and it really did look like this....Icey here, and very cold. The snow crackles underfoot and the ice twinkles.

DK mentioned in the Comments the other day about the Beatles, I listen to them alot ( thanks to 6-6).....but this song has been stuck in my head all week.

Tuesday Night Music .... 12.04.07

Snowing.....cold....I am where I want to be....inside....No One has been by for a few days....Must be the time of year...Christmas....and all...oh well....I will sit and watch the snow...

Monday Night Music and Thoughts... 12.3.07

Cold and really windy up here by the Lake,40 MPH winds and 22 degree windchill with some Snow moving through. The poor Northwest is really getting pounded with 100 MPH winds and flooding.....My son and I are hunkered down, it will be Chinese noodles,soup and garlic bread for dinner....and alot of hot coco and strong tea. Have a good night stay warm and dry.

I love this quote....I wonder what kind of thread am I, am I strong enough, I think I am fine Purple silk....undestructible. I believe that threads connect....it is up to us to make sure they don't tear....gentle hands know how to weave....a strong fabric.

Today was a day to clean out the frig, make noodles, toddle about the house in Jammie and Robe...My favorite Vintage Japanese robe and listen to Christmas Music.....and recover from a really long week....More Blogging planned for the week...I hope you all had good weekend...

Miracles.....

Do you believe in Miracles ?
I look at this picture and I think ...How could one not believe?
Even just for a moment....
But I think it is all about TIMING....
the Infinite Clock and the Circumstances that create a Miracle....
and the Energy, the Faith, the Believing that came before....
to create that One Moment....

But I also think Someone has to Witness it, SEE it for what it is....
for that one moment....
So the person who took this photo...
If he hadn't been there....
Would this Moment in Time still be a Miracle ?
